State Board of Regents Approves New Graduation Option

Today, the New York State Board of Regents approved new regulations, applicable to current high school seniors, that will change the State's high school graduation requirements.
Where high school students once had to pass five Regents exams in order to graduate: one each in English, science and math and two in social studies, the new regulations offer a "4+1" option, requiring only four
