The Leif's Grand Re-Opening

Founded by the Walsh family in 1967, Bay Ridge's beloved Leif Bar (the former Lief Erickson), an Irish pub at Senator Street and 5th Avenue, was shuttered on New Year's Day, 2012. But this year, to the delight of loyal regulars, The Leif returned under the management of Donegal native Michael Gallagher, its longtime bartender, and partner Kenny Graham.
