Gentile Calls for Full "R" Line Audit

In a letter to the MTA, City Council Member Vinnie Gentile has called for a full audit of the R train line, the commuter lifeline for Bay Ridge.

Now that R service through the Montague Street Tunnel has resumed, after a year-long suspension due to Superstorm Sandy, Gentile said, riders complain that service is worse than ever:  not enough trains, late trains, and overcrowded old cars.
