The Gowanus E-Waste Recycling Center

As of January 1, 2015, it will be illegal for New Yorkers to put their old TV sets, VHS tapes and desktop computers out with the trash.
What then? One option is the two-year-old E-waste recycling center run by the Lower East Side Ecology Center at 469 President Street (@Nevins Street, a block from the Superfunded Gowanus Canal.)
