Described by the New York Observer as a "Mister Clean" lookalike, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams is characteristically up front about his ambition to be the city's next mayor. It's something he's dreamed about, he told the Observer, since his days as a beat cop.
A former state senator like his predecessor Marty Markowitz, Adams follows the same playbook, hamming it up at every photo op
