Climate Change-Driven Habitat Loss Threatens Bird Populations

According to Field Guide to a Warmer Future, a comprehensive study by the National Audubon Society, more than half of North American bird species are threatened by climate change-driven habitat loss, with the habitat of New York birds like the Common Loon, Purple Finch, Wood Thrush, and Ruffed Grouse predicted to shrink dramatically.
Preserving habitat is key to saving bird populations.
